Laura Sawler MScPT, BSc Kin

Laura graduated from Dalhousie University in 2011 with her Masters degree in Physiotherapy. She also holds a bachelor of science in Kinesiology from St. Francis Xavier University and is certified in Acupuncture and dry needling. She was thrilled to join our team after venturing from the east coast seeking adventure in the mountains and big city living. She has extensive experience in advanced strengthening and conditioning protocols, post surgical rehabilitation, as well as treating acute and chronic pain. She’s had much success in treating elite athletes in preparation for competition, as well as weekend warriors and postural related conditions.

Laura always enjoys a new challenge and is dedicated to provide a complete and individualized treatment plan for every client. Her treatments incorporate eliminating pain and re-training the neuromuscular system through a combination of myofascial release techniques, acupuncture/dry needling, therapeutic modalities, exercises and education.

Along with Laura’s passion for physiotherapy, she loves being physically active and is heavily involved with the powerlifting community.
